About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Rotary Drill Maintenance Technician to join our Field Maintenance team at Thiess Iron Bridge, working a 14/7 roster.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a fleet of Epiroc D65 and CAT MD6310 drills, performing general maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs, and servicing of rotary blast hole drill rigs and heavy mining equipment.

  • Key duties will include sourcing technical information from relevant reference manuals, technical bulletins, OEM, and computer-based systems.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping standards at all times is essential.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Trade Certificate as a Plant Mechanic or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Post-trade experience working on blast hole drill rigs is highly desirable.
  • A commitment to safety is paramount.
  • You must be highly motivated with the ability to work independently.
