Job Title: Senior Geriatric Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Geriatric Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatry, with a focus on providing high-quality care to seniors.

Job Description:

The Senior Geriatric Care Specialist will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with various issues. This is a part-time, remote role that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The specialist will provide medical advice via video telehealth using Access Specialist software and offer medical care through therapies related to their specialty.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant Psychiatry qualifications or equivalent
  • Full registration with AHPRA as a psychiatrist
  • Fellowship from RANZCP
  • Experience in community-based settings and NDIS preferred
  • Proficiency with video telehealth technology
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with scheduling platforms
