Personal Care Support Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to support the wellbeing of our residents.

The Role:

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide assistance to our residents, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that promote their independence, interests, and choices. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assistance with residence mobility needs, including manual handling.
  • Assistance at mealtimes as required.
  • Encouraging residents to engage in various social activities.
  • Assistance with personal care needs, maintaining hygiene, toileting, and personal care such as dressing, grooming, and oral care.

Requirements:

  • Experience in an aged care role highly regarded.
  • Understanding of person-centred care.
  • Strong, clear verbal and written English skills.
  • Collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Willingness to take direction and follow instructions/compliance.
  • A confident, friendly, and professional approach to team and residents.

Compliance Requirements:

  • Certificate III Individual Support or similar with relevant aged care units completed.
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
  • Will to complete a police check.
  • Current Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain).
  • Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination (minimum of 1 dose).
