About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sales Associate to join our team at Williams Sonoma Inc. as a Visual Merchandising Expert. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales through strategic merchandising and visual displays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide world-class customer service by sharing expertise on enhancing customers' homes and creating unique shopping experiences.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Drive sales through strategic merchandising and visual displays, and lead weekly promotional and visual changes to maximize sales and customer engagement.
  • Store Operations: Ensure the store meets visual, replenishment, cleanliness, safety, and back-of-house standards, and provide operational support to the store management team.
  • Team Leadership: Meet personal targets and supervise and coach the team to deliver world-class service and achieve team goals.
  • Product Knowledge: Utilize effective selling techniques and provide in-depth product knowledge to customers, and utilize training resources to educate the team on our product range and develop their sales skills.
Requirements
  • Experience: Retail sales experience, ideally in visual merchandising, specialty retail, and/or homewares, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience in managing others or a desire to step into a leadership role, with strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Product Knowledge: Passion for homewares and design, with a strong understanding of our product range and the ability to communicate this to customers.
  • Sales Skills: Love to sell and are driven to meet and exceed targets, with effective selling techniques and the ability to convert customers and capture emails through engaging store and community events.
