Infrastructure Project Lead

This position oversees the management and support of messaging platforms, cloud services, and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will contribute to enterprise-wide solutions and environments.

  • Manage on-premise and cloud-based messaging systems and services, ensuring they meet business objectives and adhere to service level agreements.
  • Operate server infrastructure, Windows domain services, storage solutions, and backups.
  • Contribute to the reliability and security of messaging solutions and the overall Enterprise infrastructure services.
  • Review and identify ways to improve performance and stability of services and applications through continuous improvement and automation.

The ideal applicant will have strong technical expertise in key infrastructure disciplines, a solid understanding of cloud-based environments, and experience in supporting and maintaining infrastructure services and solutions.

They should be able to implement and monitor projects effectively, assess infrastructure-related items constructively, and engage with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop standards and best practices for use across IT and the business.
  • Identify emerging technology solutions that reduce cost, increase efficiencies, enhance capabilities, reduce risk, and improve security.
  • Drive continuous improvement, continuous delivery, and lean practices within the Enterprise Infrastructure directorate.
  • Establish strong working relationships and communicate related concepts to technical and non-technical clients, including key stakeholders and external consultants.

The successful candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to live and promote a strong ICT team culture that values the contributions of all team members.
