We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Ryde and surrounding suburbs.
Job DescriptionThis is a challenging and rewarding role where you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of people with disabilities.
You will be responsible for assessing participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments.
Based on your findings, you will interpret and formulate treatment goals tailored to each participant's needs.
You will provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions that cater to the individual's requirements.
Your role will also involve supporting and advising on environmental adaptations, including home, school, work, and residential facilities.
You will recommend the provision of Assistive Technology to help participants overcome functional limitations and promote independence.
In this position, you will work independently as well as collaboratively with other professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- A proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas.
- Desire to work in a fun, collaborative, and supportive environment.
- Ability to work independently.
