Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Asphalt Supervisor to oversee our Infrastructure Services operations in Hazelmere, WA.

This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to manage crew outputs, and ensure client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in asphalt laying, team management, and site safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage asphalt crews to achieve high-quality work outputs that exceed client expectations.
  • Liaise with sales staff, clients, and contractors to plan works in advance.
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring all aspects of the job, including safety, quality assurance, and traffic control, are well understood by the crew.
  • Supervise crew members to ensure key responsibilities are met and report any workplace hazards or issues.
  • Contribute to the development of Safe Work Method Statements and attend toolbox meetings as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in supervising asphalt crews, with a strong focus on team management and site safety.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to set direction and communicate plans effectively.
  • Highly organized, with strong computer literacy and the ability to read contract terms and industry specifications.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards of quality.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and extended hours as required.
