Curriculum Leadership Role

This senior leadership position involves overseeing the development and implementation of educational programs across Mathematics, Science, and Technologies at a state high school.

About the Position

The successful candidate will work closely with the school community to promote high-quality teaching and learning, driving continuous improvement in academic standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive oversight and guidance on curriculum development and delivery across Maths, Science, and Technologies.
  • Drive excellence in teaching and learning by supporting faculty teams, promoting best practices, and focusing on academic enhancement.
  • Monitor student behaviour patterns and wellbeing, offering targeted support for case-managed students.
  • Track and analyse senior student data to identify those at risk, designing and implementing targeted interventions.
  • Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum programs with a deep understanding of the Australian Curriculum and Queensland Certificate of Education.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with staff, students, and the wider school community.

Required Qualifications
  • Relevant teaching experience in Mathematics, Science, and/or Technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and Queensland Certificate of Education.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
