Job Opportunity: WHS Manager

This role offers a unique opportunity to partner with the organization and drive excellence in workplace health and safety.

The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of Australian WHS legislation and have experience in conducting risk assessments, providing guidance and oversight, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and standards.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Possess a comprehensive knowledge of Australian WHS laws and regulations.
  • Complete regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
  • Provide leadership and support to ensure adherence to all applicable WHS policies and global standards.
  • Evaluate site performance against established safety criteria.
  • Analyze safety metrics and review incident trends on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Conduct frequent site audits to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
  • Audit record-keeping practices and data entry into the Global Safety Database.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in WHS or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.

This is a full-time position working a shift schedule of 6PM - 2AM. The selected candidate will be required to work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve excellent WHS outcomes.
