Role Overview

The Rehabilitation Specialist plays a pivotal role in facilitating client recovery by collaborating with treatment providers, delivering clinical opinions through report writing, and educating workplaces on injury prevention and management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with treatment providers to achieve optimal outcomes for clients
  • Deliver comprehensive reports detailing clinical opinions and justifications
  • Conduct workplace assessments to understand physical demands and job roles
  • Educate employers and insurers on strategies for preventing and managing workplace injuries
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the health and rehabilitation spectrum

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Registration with AHPRA or ESSA as applicable
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A passion for driving effective rehabilitation outcomes
