About the Role

The Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant is a key member of our team, responsible for providing engaging activities and experiences for residents in our residential aged care facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement leisure and lifestyle care plans for residents, in accordance with Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Provide activities and experiences that promote social interaction, physical activity, and mental stimulation
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a holistic approach to care
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure their needs are met
  • Participate in data analysis and quality improvement initiatives to enhance care and services
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent
  • Experience working in residential aged care, with a focus on leisure and lifestyle activities
  • Ability to develop and implement care plans, and communicate effectively with residents and staff
  • Passion for providing respectful and holistic care for older people
  • Highly developed organisational and problem-solving skills
