Legal Associate to a Supreme Court Judge

An exciting opportunity exists to work with a highly respected Judge in the Supreme Court of Victoria.
This role provides a unique chance to gain valuable experience in the administration of justice and contribute to the development of the legal system.
The successful applicant will have strong writing and research skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
- Assist in the production of judgments, including proofreading and editing.
- Clerk in court and review files and orders.
- Perform administrative tasks, including maintaining court records and preparing material for use by the judge in court.
- Prepare research memoranda and liaise with court staff and the public.
To be considered for this position, you must possess:
- Excellent proofreading and writing skills, proficiency in grammar and an excellent academic record.
- Strong communication skills, including an ability to confidently convey information over the telephone and via written communication.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
