Teaching Opportunity

We are seeking an innovative and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our school, a vibrant community committed to excellence in teaching and learning.

As an English Teacher, you will be a vital part of a talented team of specialist teachers dedicated to delivering high-quality curriculum programs to students in the Senior School.

The successful applicant should possess excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to provide students with engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse student needs, and experience using explicit instruction strategies.

They will ideally have previous experience as a teacher in the Senior School, flexibility, and adaptability to apply differentiated instruction and assessment techniques.

A major focus of the school is the implementation of Explicit Instruction (EI) across all learning areas. Experience using EI in the classroom is not a prerequisite for this position, but the successful applicant will ideally display a willingness to incorporate this into their teaching practice.

Knowledge or completion of Classroom Management Strategies (CMS) and Instructional Strategies (IS) professional workshops would also be highly desirable.

  • Eligible teacher qualification and registration
  • Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid visa with relevant work rights
  • Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit
