About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in Broken Hill. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining the independence and quality of life for our elderly clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
  • Provide transportation for clients to appointments, shopping trips, and social activities.
  • Offer personal care support, including assistance with personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, and medication administration.
  • Enhance clients' quality of life by accompanying them to appointments and social activities.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in aged or community care is preferred, but not essential.
  • Empathy and resourcefulness are essential qualities for this role.
  • Flexibility to accommodate the evolving needs and schedules of our clients.
  • A valid Australian driving license and access to a comprehensively insured, reliable vehicle.
  • Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
