About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Kindergarten Educator to join our team at one of our kindergartens in Ringwood or Croydon. As a Kindergarten Educator with Y Ballarat, you will have the opportunity to create engaging learning experiences for children aged 3-6 years, while building meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver educational activities that promote children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive kindergarten environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, and contribute to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of our kindergarten programs.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or working towards it).
  • A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) guidelines.
  • A valid Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC), current First Aid certification, and a Police Check (or willingness to obtain them).
  • A friendly, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work with different age groups in various settings.
