Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned project leader to oversee the delivery of major infrastructure projects and programs.

This role involves developing, implementing, and evaluating accommodation solutions, principles, standards, and policies in collaboration with stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have expertise in managing risk, scope, time, cost, and quality across multiple concurrent projects, as well as experience in leading project teams and developing team member technical capability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of major infrastructure projects or programs
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of accommodation solutions, principles, standards, and policies
  • Manage risk, scope, time, cost, and quality across multiple concurrent projects
  • Support and provide input into internal and external funding bids, business cases, and high-level reporting
Requirements:
  • Australian citizenship at the time of application
  • Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one
  • Demonstrated understanding of Commonwealth procurement policies and legislation
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering major capital works projects and programs
  • Demonstrated experience in leading project teams and developing team member technical capability
Desirable Requirements:
  • Contemporary knowledge and experience relevant to the role, including project management, property budgeting, contract negotiation, risk management, communication, and change management
