About this role:

As a Home Support Worker with Programmed Care, you will play a vital role in improving health outcomes for our Veteran and Aged community living at home in Melbourne's Western Suburbs.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a supportive and progressive team, offering competitive pay rates and flexible working arrangements.

You will be paid your hourly rate for the entirety of the shift from arrival at your first client to your last, with an additional $1.99/km reimbursement for travel between clients.

The work is weekdays commencing at 8am, supporting clients within their own homes with light domestic duties.

A wide travel radius is involved with this position, and as such, it is a requirement that you have a reliable fully insured motor vehicle and a full Australian Drivers Licence.

This is a casual role, requiring 20 to 30 hours per week.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • experience in a comparable role
  • good time management skills
  • a current police clearance certificate (within the last 12 months)
  • a Working with Children Check
  • a Manual handling Certificate
  • Covid-19 Vaccinations (minimum x2, essential for work in the aged care sector)
  • a current Australian Drivers Licence
  • a reliable, registered, and insured motor vehicle - essential
