Job Title

A field service technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical power generation products in the field. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical repair procedures, and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair electrical power generation products in the field using specialized tools and documented procedures
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on power generation products
  • Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims via handwritten forms or business system input screens
  • Train electrical apprentices in and out of the branch
  • Coordinate jobs and responsibilities within the branch and delegate workload
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Apprentice-trained Power Generation/Electrical Technician (or equivalent)
  • Diploma/Certificate from relevant technical institution
  • Current relevant electrical certification/tickets
  • Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products
  • High Voltage/Low Voltage Experience preferred
