Position Overview

The Extend organization is seeking a dedicated OSHC Service Manager to oversee the Outside School Hours Care program at a local educational institution. This role involves ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children during their Before and After School Care sessions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the service.
  • Design, plan, and implement daily activities that are enjoyable, safe, and educational for children.
  • Maintain a strong emphasis on child safety and compliance with mandatory reporting requirements.
  • Provide supervision and support to children in the program.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
  • Foster a welcoming and positive atmosphere for children.
  • Cultivate meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, families, and the broader school community.

Qualifications Required

  • Certificate IV, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in children's services or an equivalent qualification recognized in the field.
  • A current Employee Working with Children's Check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management certification.
  • Completion of Child Protection training (CHCPRT001 - Identify and respond to children and young people at risk).
