About the Role

You will be part of a dynamic team as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) on the 6th Floor. This is a part-time position covering maternity leave in our acute surgical ward.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality nursing care and lead a team focused on continuous improvement, teamwork and customer service.

  • Collaborate closely with NUM to provide direction, support and advice to nursing & support personnel
  • Assume responsibilities of the NUM in their absence
  • Demonstrate commitment to organisational development as directed by the NUM
  • Foster effective working relationships with staff, patients and VMPs
  • Liaise with Clinical Co-ordinator and NUM to manage patient workload and staffing requirements
  • Contribute to achieving unit and organisational KPIs, Mission, Vision & Values

  • Planning and coordinating patient care
  • Meeting immunisation compliance and professional development requirements

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant clinical specialty
  • National Criminal History Check
  • A valid Working with Children check
