Compassionate Care Worker

Right at Home is seeking a compassionate personal care worker to provide vital support to clients in their own homes. This rewarding role involves assisting with daily tasks, promoting independence and dignity, and fostering meaningful relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Preparing meals and snacks that cater to individual dietary needs.
- Providing emotional support and companionship.
- Transporting clients to appointments and social activities.
- Maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
- Monitoring client health and wellbeing, reporting changes to registered nurses.
- Documenting services provided through our digital care app.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in community care.
- Dementia care experience preferred.
- Cert III in aged care or equivalent qualification.
- Current first aid and CPR certification.
- Police check and NDIS screen check.
- Working with children check (if applicable).
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
