Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CG Supervisor to lead our global department and drive the success of our show deliveries. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing creative guidance, technical direction, and discipline leadership to ensure the highest standards of visual quality and technical execution.

Responsibilities

* Develop and implement a clear creative delivery strategy to ensure successful show outcomes
* Collaborate with show leads to identify inefficiencies and technical problems with the toolset and pipeline, and implement solutions to resolve these issues
* Drive dailies sessions, providing clear briefing, feedback, and approvals to artists' work, while maintaining allocated bid days
* Manage the render forecast, working closely with lighting and production teams to maintain accuracy
* Control and manage storage and sync footprint on the project, reviewing and reducing where possible

Requirements

* Proven experience in a VFX environment, with a strong understanding of physics, motion, and natural phenomena
* Familiarity with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Vex, C#) for tool development and automation
* Required knowledge of shader programming and other technical aspects of FX development
* Good knowledge of applications used in FX (Houdini), lighting (Katana and Houdini), and compositing (Nuke)
