Adelaide, South Australia beBeeSpecialist Full time $100,000 - $120,000

Project specialists play a crucial role in delivering exceptional outcomes that put people and community first.

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and self-driven project specialist to join our national team. This is a role offering a high degree of independence, where you'll play a key role in supporting project teams nationally in delivering successful project outcomes.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the planning, coordination, and control functions across a portfolio of projects. Their focus will be on integrated project controls – including cost management, scheduling, reporting, and risk coordination, ensuring that projects remain on track, on budget, and aligned with strategic objectives.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working autonomously, thrives on structure, and can bring clarity and consistency to complex project environments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules (MS Project) including milestones, task dependencies, and resource planning.
  • Tracking progress against project baselines and providing performance updates to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Supporting cost estimation, budget tracking, and financial forecasting across multiple projects.
  • Conducting variance analysis and recommending corrective actions to mitigate risk.
  • Working closely with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to align schedules and budgets with delivery expectations.
  • Supporting change control processes by capturing scope changes and evaluating their impacts.
  • Assisting in the identification of risks and contributing to the development of mitigation strategies.
  • Developing and maintaining project documentation, dashboards, and structured reporting tools.
  • Supporting project closeout activities by ensuring final deliverables, reporting, and documentation are completed accurately.

About you

  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated at least 3-5 years' experience in a project controls, project scheduling, or project coordination role, ideally in a consulting environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project and Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience supporting multi-disciplinary projects is highly regarded.

Job location

This role is based in Adelaide's CBD, offering flexible work arrangements.

We offer a supportive and caring environment, empowering you to build your skills, progress your career quickly, and work the way that suits you best.

Good people. Challenging projects. Caring environment. That's what we're all about.
