Job Summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Karratha. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out engine diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance for our customers across various sectors, including Mining, Marine, On Hwy, and Power Gen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality service to customers across different industries
  • Complete repairs and maintenance of Cummins On Hwy and HHP products, as well as attend to breakdowns in the field and service marine customers on and off shore
  • Diagnose and repair various gen sets across industrial and power station customers
  • Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, and report any issues/incidents to the Field Service Supervisor
  • Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents

Requirements

  • Relevant trade qualification (Plant or Heavy Commercial Vehicle/Heavy Diesel)
  • A valid driver's license
  • Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, mining equipment, engines, and similar applications is preferred
