About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Drainage Project Manager to lead and deliver complex drainage projects from strategy to detailed design and delivery.

As an industry leader in water resources, particularly in flood risk assessment, coastal engineering, and hydrological modelling, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across transport, defence, and other sectors.

  • Manage and deliver high-profile projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholders and drive project success
  • Mentor junior engineers, designers, and drafters to develop their skills
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to contribute to project design and delivery
  • Lead client-facing projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to regulatory requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering and professional certification (highly regarded)
  • A strong focus on client satisfaction, high level of motivation, and dedication
  • The ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate with various stakeholders
  • An appetite for fast-paced project delivery, and the ability to work under pressure
  • Demonstrated experience with drainage modelling and design packages such as DRAINS, HEC-RAS, RORB, XPRAFTS, URBS, 12d, MUSIC, GoldSim, IQQM, and TUFLOW
