Deputy State Manager, Cancer Services Division

A senior leadership role is available within our Cancer Services division to oversee a portfolio of cancer centres across Queensland.

This position will drive operational excellence and strategic growth by leading operations, ensuring high-quality, patient-centred care while achieving financial and performance targets.

The successful candidate will report to the Queensland State Manager and lead multidisciplinary teams across designated cancer centres, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

About You

We're looking for a driven and adaptable leader who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.

  • Minimum 3 years' senior leadership experience in healthcare (oncology or private sector preferred).
  • Strong understanding of cancer care delivery models and health sector funding.
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex operations.
  • Sound understanding of healthcare compliance and quality frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in health or business (postgraduate preferred).
