Senior Horticulturalist

We are seeking a skilled Pest Management Team Leader to join our team. As the leader of a small team responsible for delivering weed and pest control and plant health services, you will play a key role in ensuring that these activities are delivered on time and meet relevant quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to a team of specialized pest control and horticultural staff.
• Plan, organize and deliver daily work programs in collaboration with the Pest Control Supervisor.
• Prepare basic written reports and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Read, understand and extract safety information from chemical labels and Material Safety Data Sheets.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• A Certificate III in Horticulture/Turf/Landscaping or equivalent qualification.
• AQF-3 Chemical Accreditation.
• Pest Management units 5,6 and 18 or willingness to obtain.
