Senior Project Officer Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to fill a Senior Project Officer position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration, regulation, projects, communications, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support including forward planning and tracking of key team priorities.
  • Develop and implement communications and engagement strategies to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support workforce capability through process review and development, knowledge management, systems and data, and Commissioner induction.
  • Lead and supervise junior staff in the team, branch, and broader organisation.

Responsibilities include providing administrative support, developing communications and engagement strategies, supporting workforce capability, and leading and supervising junior staff.

Requirements:
  • The successful candidate will possess or demonstrate the ability to acquire a sound understanding of competition law and policy development.
  • Experience in supervising and supporting junior staff to deliver key objectives is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence, negotiate, and work collaboratively with team members and internal and external stakeholders, are required.
