Mobile Case Manager

About the Role
The Mobile Case Manager supports the Claims team from Eligibility to 130 weeks, focusing on client site support for injured workers and employers in return to work strategies.
The successful candidate will meet with workers, employers, and treating health practitioners to discuss, plan, and implement strategies to help with a worker's recovery and return to work. A company car is provided.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- The ability to gather information from various stakeholders to develop effective case management strategies.
- A valid Victorian Driver's License.
- Experience in preparing and attending claims reviews and clinical case conferences to effectively facilitate outcomes.
- Well-developed problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Advanced organizational and planning skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Resilience and perseverance.
- Strong customer service ethic.
- Negotiation and influencing skills.
- Initiative and an innovative approach to case management.
Required Expertise
- Claims management experience in the Victorian workers' compensation scheme, ideally in return to work case management, Allied Health background in Nursing, Physio, or Occupational Rehabilitation.
- Knowledge of medical and paramedical terminology and procedures, including forms of treatment applicable to injuries.
- Strong working knowledge of the Accident Compensation Act 1985 and associated regulations.
- Ability and desire to work in a team environment.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to change.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of ACCtion and Novus.
