Leading a laboratory team to achieve success in a fast-paced environment is an exciting opportunity. As Laboratory Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the laboratory, ensuring that safety requirements, maintenance needs, and project delivery are met according to procedures and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of 10 concrete and quarry product technicians, providing guidance and support to help them meet their goals.
  • Report directly to the Laboratory Manager and be responsible for the overall performance of the ACT laboratory.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve safety, efficiency, and productivity within the laboratory.

Requirements:
- Significant experience in laboratory testing, preferably in the concrete or quarry industry.
- Proven track record of NATA signatory status for Concrete or Aggregates tests.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in science or another relevant discipline (desired but not essential).
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in computer systems for data monitoring and reporting, particularly with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, etc.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and maintain a commitment to safety and quality.
