About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Occupational Therapist to provide occupation-focused cognitive, motor, sensory, psycho-social, and discharge interventions. You will contribute to an interdisciplinary team approach to achieve optimal patient care, provide supervision to OT staff and students, and participate in quality improvement and research activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality assessment and management of clients with acquired brain injuries
  • Develop and implement occupation-focused treatment plans
  • Contribute to an interdisciplinary team approach to achieve optimal patient care
  • Provide supervision to OT staff and students
  • Participate in quality improvement and research activities
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in occupational therapy
  • Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia and eligibility for OTA membership
  • Clinical experience and knowledge of client-centred, occupation-based practice for clients with acquired brain injury
  • Demonstrated skills in cognitive and physical assessment and intervention
  • Experience working within an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality rehabilitation
  • Experience in supervision of junior staff or students is highly desirable
