Develop your clinical skills in a supportive environment with this exciting opportunity to work as a General Adult Consultant.

This role offers highly negotiable rates and the chance to broaden your experience of inpatient psychiatry. You will be working full-time in a well-established team with good support from senior clinical and managerial colleagues.

The trust is seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry to provide senior consultant input to a 22 bedded acute ward. An additional 0.5 wte consultant will be available, along with several junior training grade medical staff attached to the ward.

Within the ward there is access to a full multidisciplinary team including a well-staffed nursing team, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, pharmacy and access to psychology input as required.

The posts are fully flexible and would welcome applications from candidates interested in working on a part-time basis.

Hours: Full time role, 40 hours per week

Location: Perth, Scotland area

Settings: Inpatient

Requirements:

  • Full GMC License to practice
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Relevant previous experience working in this type of position
  • Section 12/RC approval is essential
