Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team in a senior accountancy role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Statutory Accounts Finalisation: Review and finalise statutory accounts for submission to regulatory bodies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Clients Communication: Communicate effectively with clients as necessary, providing timely updates and solutions.
  • Client Files Management: Update client files, check-lists, records, and procedures, maintaining organisational efficiency.
  • Financial Analysis and Planning: Conduct financial analyses, planning, and financial modelling to drive business growth.

Audit Responsibilities:

  • Audit Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively as part of an audit team or take responsibility for running the audit, working directly with the client under manager supervision.
  • Audit Execution: Assist in the planning, execution, and finalisation of all areas of the audit assignment for manager or partner review.
  • Risk Identification: Identify risk matters and discuss the impact of these with the audit manager and/or partner.
  • Work Presentation: Produce work for the manager/partner review clearly highlighting issues and providing potential solutions.

Requirements:

  • Team Supervision: Experience supervising and coaching junior members of staff on site, fostering a positive team environment.
  • Firm Services Knowledge: Working knowledge of firm services, including advice, regulation, and compliance.
  • Market Trends Awareness: Demonstrable knowledge of current economic and market trends.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Professional Experience: 3+ years PQE.
  • Qualifications: Qualified ACA/ICAS or Educated up to degree level or CTS.
  • Membership: A member of ACCA or ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants).
