Physiotherapist - Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our dynamic interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for managing complex rehabilitation case loads and delivering exceptional clinical services.

The successful applicant will have the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to program development and quality improvement activities within the Allied Health Department.

In this specialist role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive Physiotherapy rehabilitation services to inpatients and outpatients with varied diagnostic groups. Your skills and expertise will enable you to deliver high-quality clinical services, including assessment, treatment, planning, and evidence-based practice.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized Physiotherapy plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on Physiotherapy techniques and strategies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and best practice development within the department.
  • Mentor and supervise junior staff and students to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality Physiotherapy services.

Selection Criteria:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practice in Physiotherapy.
