Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to oversee our structural engineering efforts. The successful candidate will play a key role in guiding and supporting our team of engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead structural design for renewable energy systems and HV power facilities, covering elements such as foundations, steel and concrete structures, platforms, enclosures, and balance-of-plant components.
  • Prepare and review engineering calculations, specifications, design drawings, and construction documentation in accordance with industry codes and Australian standards.
  • Conduct structural analysis under both static and dynamic load conditions, including wind and seismic loads.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to senior and junior engineering staff and design professionals.
  • Carry out site inspections, structural evaluations, and construction reviews to ensure alignment with design specifications and safety standards.
Requirements
  • 12 years of experience in structural engineering, with a minimum of 7 years in renewable energy and HV infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in structural design for solar PV systems, battery storage systems, and HV substations.
  • Strong communication skills and experience in project leadership roles.
