We're looking for dedicated Aged Care Professionals who share our passion for delivering person-centered care and are committed to making a difference in the lives of our residents.

Salary: $32-$38 per hour (dependent on experience)

Job Description:

As a Personal Care Worker at Uniting AgeWell, you will be responsible for coordinating personal care for residents according to their individual needs and preferences. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide effective clinical and emotional support, recognizing changes in residents' conditions and escalating observations and concerns.

  • Deliver high-quality, personalized care to residents and families, considering cultural, spiritual, and individual needs
  • Provide personal care to residents with complex needs, such as palliative care, dementia support, restorative care, and pain management
  • Support nursing staff regarding assessment, care planning processes, documentation, and evaluation of care outcomes
  • Monitor the cleanliness, safety, and environment, reporting any issues of concern
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (Aged Care)
  • Experience in residential aged care or home care (desired)
  • Experience with dementia care and palliative care support (desired)
  • Demonstrated ability to support residents in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills
