We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Depot Transport Officer to join our team at Transport Canberra. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operation of bus services, including vehicle and driver allocations, roster preparation, and information dissemination to the public and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate network resources, including vehicle and driver allocations
  • Prepare daily and weekly rosters
  • Provide information to the public and staff
  • Make decisions independently to manage and resolve incidents, situations, or events affecting Transport Canberra's operational network

Requirements

  • Sound knowledge of public transport networks
  • Ability to prioritize work and make decisions in a time-pressured environment
  • Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Commitment to work overtime on a regular basis and to a programmed weekend roster
  • Driver's license (HR class) essential
  • Pre-employment medical and Working with Vulnerable People Check required
