Job Title: Operations Leadership Specialist

Job Summary:

The Operations Leadership Specialist will oversee the effective management and coordination of multiple construction projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, budget requirements, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, the ability to lead and inspire teams, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership:
    • Provide hands-on leadership across operational teams, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and collaboration.
    • Oversee daily operations, ensuring project milestones are met.
    • Implement processes that enhance efficiency, scalability, and resource optimization.
  • Project Management and Coordination:
    • Monitor ongoing projects, maintain a comprehensive understanding of project status, and make proactive adjustments.
    • Manage and coordinate resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, across projects.
    • Track project budgets and expenditures, working closely with financial teams.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Reporting:
    • Act as the primary operational point of contact for the Senior Leadership Team, providing regular updates and insights.
    • Develop and deliver reports on key metrics to stakeholders.
  • Team Development and Management:
    • Oversee ground teams, providing mentorship, support, and development opportunities.
    • Foster a safe and positive work environment.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and support talent acquisition and retention efforts.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in an operations management role within the construction or civil engineering sector.
  • Skills:
    • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and inspire teams.
    • Strong project management skills, with experience in resource planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in construction project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
