Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents to participate in social activities through Arcare's lifestyle and wellbeing programs.
  • Support residents to engage in their leisure and lifestyle choices and activities.
  • Provide emotional support and foster participation in hobbies, interests, and group activities.
  • Assist with personal care, including showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming, maintaining residents' dignity and privacy.
  • Assist residents with therapeutic activities and support.
  • Provide mobility support, including helping residents with walking, using mobility aids, or transferring between positions.
  • Assist with meal preparation and support residents with their dietary requirements.

Requirements

  • Cert III Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
  • Adaptable, passionate, and willing to learn.
  • Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
  • Effective communication abilities.
