Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents to participate in social activities through Arcare's internal lifestyle and wellbeing programs.
  • Support residents in engaging in their leisure and lifestyle choices and activities.
  • Provide emotional support and encourage residents to participate in hobbies, interests, and group activities.
  • Personal Care: Assist with activities such as showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming, maintaining the dignity and privacy of each resident.
  • Assist residents with therapeutic activities and support.
  • Mobility support: Help residents with walking, using mobility aids, or transferring between different positions.
  • Meal Assist: Support residents with their dietary requirements and assist them in eating.

Requirements

  • Cert III Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
  • Adaptable, passionate, and willing to learn.
  • Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
  • Effective communication abilities.
