Job Overview

An experienced Business Analyst is required to facilitate the discovery phase and requirements gathering of a complex IT project for a government transport initiative.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with clients and NSW agencies, reporting to the Project Manager, Business Systems and Process Improvement within the People and Business Operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating requirements gathering workshops with stakeholders
  • Documenting raw requirements
  • Researching possible options for a solution
  • Translating requirements into various artefacts

The Business Analyst will be an active member of a high-performing integrated project team, focusing on safety outcomes and compliance with system requirements.

They will contribute to the successful development and delivery of the project, leading and motivating the cross-functional team and managing contract procurement transactions.

This is a short-term engagement, with a strong focus on collaboration and results-driven work. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

  • Experience in business analysis and requirements gathering
  • Strong understanding of IT projects and systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Location:

Sydney CBD based, with some travel possible.
