Job Title: Floor Covering Specialist

We are seeking skilled professionals to assume the role of Floor Covering Specialists. The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Examine building plans, measure and mark surfaces, and lay out work.
  • Prepare wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, and adhesive, fill holes and cracks, and clean surfaces.
  • Utilize tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles needed for edges and corners, and around objects such as fittings and pipes.
  • Apply grout between tiles, and clean and remove excess grout.
  • May lay floors of granolithic, terrazzo, cement or similar composition.
  • Attach tiles to various surfaces using numerous adhesives.
  • Ensure tiles are correctly aligned and spaced.

Qualifications and Requirements Include:

  • Relevant Education qualification: Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling (or equivalent experience).
  • Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment and possess excellent communication skills.
  • Must be a reliable worker with a valid driver's license and own equipment/transport vehicle.
