Job Title: Data Migration Specialist

As a key member of our Solution Architecture and Technical Analysis team, you will be responsible for the migration of configuration data between Electronic Medical Record (EMR) environments. Your primary focus will be on ensuring data integrity and adhering to organisational and compliance standards.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on some of NSW Health's most transformative digital projects. You will collaborate closely with IT professionals and clinical teams to ensure a seamless transition of system configurations.

Your responsibilities will include configuring, administering, and supporting the system interfaces and data courier tools used for data migrations. You will also monitor configuration data transfers, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and ensure timely completion of data migrations and integrity of data transferred.

In addition to working on high-priority projects, you will support the ongoing development of best practice methodologies, including contributing to the establishment of a centre of excellence for this discipline. This will enable you to share your expertise and knowledge across eHealth NSW.

We are seeking an experienced professional with a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration or relevant field, or equivalent work experience. You will have proven experience in a similar role within a large organisation, demonstrating a strong understanding of EMR systems and criticality of ensuring data integrity.

You will possess excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, and stay updated with the latest developments in data transfer tools. As a Data Migration Specialist, you will provide training and guidance on Data Courier processes to other team members and offer support during migration processes.
