Maintenance Officer

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to support and manage our maintenance team in a dynamic aged care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide reactive and planned preventative maintenance within our facilities
  • Work to established best practice and maintain homes to the highest standard
  • Carry out general maintenance and repairs, including patching & painting, replacing globes and basic building maintenance
  • Ensure all documentation and system processes are adhered to

Essential Attributes:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in aged care
  • Liaising with contractors and supervising when necessary
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail & excellent communication skills
  • A current NSW driver's license
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to interact with elderly residents on a day-to-day basis

Compliance Requirements:

A valid RSL LifeCare Police Check or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check is mandatory for this role.
