Overview

Come join the Infinite team as our new Maintenance Officer on a full-time basis at our Southhaven aged care home in Padstow NSW. You will be working as part of a team that takes great pride in the work that they do to maintain the facility Southhaven Aged Care Facility in Padstow Heights | Infinite Care.

This role offers great work life balance as the hours are Monday to Friday, starting at 7am and finishing at approximately 3pm. The hourly rate is $33 per hour (negotiable for the right candidate) and also pays a fortnightly phone allowance.

As part of being an Infinite Aged care employee you will be required to complete pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake general day to day maintenance activities to a high standard in accordance with Infinite standards, plans and guidelines.
  • Ensure all emergency, preventative and corrective maintenance is carried out in accordance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • When required oversee and coordinate any required contractors working on site.
  • Ensure smooth day to day running of all maintenance requirements at the facility.
  • Exceptional client service skills are important to ensure success in the role.
  • Flexibility to undertake a wide scope of activities including but not limited to: landscaping and garden maintenance; general repairs; waste removal; painting and test and tagging (training can be provided after commencement).
About You
  • Previous gardening and maintenance experience is preferred.
  • OHS understanding.
  • You will need to be a self-starter with excellent time management skills which enable you prioritise work schedules.
  • Work autonomously as well as a member of the team and have a strong customer service focus.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills and ability to multi-task.
  • A valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willing to apply for one).
  • Positive can-do attitude will ensure your success in this important role.
