We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Operations Manager to join our team at AUTOrecruit.

As a key member of our operations team, your primary responsibility will be to provide top-notch customer service, manage appointments efficiently, and support front counter operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers at the front counter with a friendly and professional attitude, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
  • Schedule appointments in a timely manner, delegating tasks to skilled technicians to ensure efficient job completion.
  • Understand and address customer automotive service needs and concerns, providing accurate information, estimates, and timelines as required.
  • Maintain organised service records, customer details, and vehicle specifications, ensuring seamless communication within the team.
  • Collaborate closely with the service team to ensure jobs are completed on time, meeting the high standards of our clients.
  • Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally, responding promptly to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure the front counter area remains organised and clutter-free, promoting a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in the automotive industry is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of the intricacies involved.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, enabling you to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • A customer-centric mindset is vital, driving your approach to delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships with clients.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive systems is beneficial, although not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in computer software for scheduling and record-keeping is necessary, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • The capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is crucial, requiring adaptability and flexibility.
  • A willingness to work flexible hours, including Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential early Fridays, is expected.
