**Secondary English/HASS Teacher Position**

We are seeking two Secondary English/HASS teachers who can teach from a Christian worldview. The roles are permanent, full-time and will commence in Term 1 of the next year.

The successful applicants will be part of a growing, independent, co-educational Christian College located in the port city of Gladstone, Queensland. Our college has grown to offer a seamless educational program from Kindergarten to Year 12 across two campuses, with around 620 students.

We are committed to developing 21st Century skills, following the Australian National Curriculum, as well as providing unique learning opportunities for students, such as inquiry-based learning, collaborative learning, and digital deliveries.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Teaching secondary years, including teaching practices, with a high degree of teaching competence.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate sensitively and confidentially with parents, students and other staff.
  • Ability to build and maintain quality working relationships and student rapport.
  • Highly organised and take pride in the planning and preparation of your classes.

**Requirements:**

  • A commitment to Christianity and active involvement in church life.
  • Queensland College of Teachers registration.
  • Entitlement to work in Australia.
