Project Lead Role

This site-based supervisor position is designed for individuals with experience in civil and bulk earthworks projects. Working closely with senior management, you will report to the Project Manager and oversee project activities, safety, and execution of works within schedule.

You will lead from the front, drive our culture and vision for industry-leading safety, effectively manage resources, and demonstrate comprehensive understanding of contractual requirements. Providing effective leadership and supervision through 'on the ground' presence, direction, guidance and feedback to teams and individuals, you will ensure timely and accurate information is provided to meet management and Client requirements.

About the Role
  • Liaise with the Project Management Team to ensure project activities are completed safely, within budget, and in a timely manner;
  • Periodically assess employee performance by conducting scheduled appraisals in accordance with performance objectives and prepares corrective and development plans as necessary;
  • Inspire and encourage others towards goal achievement.

The successful candidate will have experience in a supervisory/management role within bulk/civil earthworks, possess relevant qualifications (Certificate IV or Diploma in Management) and hold S1, S2 and S3 qualifications. A demonstrated understanding of mining and/or civil plant and equipment operations and maintenance is highly regarded. Strong planning ability, time management, and prioritisation skills are essential. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, along with experience with Microsoft Office and maintenance related systems (MEX) etc, are required.

A self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and desire to work in remote locations, you will be hands-on and able to read and interpret plans and drawings. You will also be responsible for maintaining and adhering to scheduling of project activities and ensuring all contractual and KPI reporting is provided to management and the Client.
