Job Description

We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated midwives to join our dynamic team at one of Tasmania's leading public hospitals. As a midwife in this role, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care to women during pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period. You will work collaboratively with a diverse group of clinicians to deliver safe and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice, care, and support to women during pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period.
  • Show initiative and adaptability in responding to change and addressing complex situations.
  • Pursue excellence in providing safe, quality, clinically appropriate midwifery care in partnership with women, their families, and other health professionals.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years' clinical experience as a midwife.
  • A relevant midwifery qualification or postgraduate qualification.
  • AHPRA registration or be in the process of obtaining it.
