
Aerodrome Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Airfield Planner. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to take on a key role in the planning and design of new airfield and apron facilities at Perth Airport.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing the planning process, conducting detailed data analysis, facilitating high-quality planning studies by external consultants, and assisting in preparing essential planning documents.
Key responsibilities include engaging with various stakeholders to gather planning inputs, supporting discussions, and ensuring all initiatives align with safety, risk, and environmental requirements.
In addition, the Senior Airfield Planner will contribute to the review of innovative technologies and trends for the New Terminal, coordinate with different departments to ensure seamless project execution, and address any issues that may arise during the planning and implementation phases.
To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 5 years of experience in airport planning at major airports or aviation planning consultancies, with a focus on aprons and airfields.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Airport Planning, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills.
You will also need proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and advanced skills in CAD or similar drawing packages.
